CCSP Practice Assessment Instructions

Overview

This practice assessment consists of 72 multiple-choice questions.
  • Time allowed: 120 minutes
  • Passing score: 70% (51 correct answers out of 72 questions)
  • Questions cover various modules, including: Helping relationships (15 items), Career development theory (19 items), Assessment techniques (16 items), Ethics (7 items), Job-seeking and employability skills (15 items)

Before You Begin

  1. Find a quiet location where you can work uninterrupted for 90 minutes.
  2. Have scratch paper and a pen/pencil available if needed.
  3. Ensure you have a reliable timer or clock visible.

Assessment Format

Each question has four possible answers (A, B, C, or D). Only one answer is correct for each question. You can mark a question for review, and these questions will appear at the end when you hit submit so you can review them and then hit your final submit of the assessment.

Taking the Assessment

  1. Read each question carefully and completely before selecting an answer.
  2. Consider all options before making your selection.
  3. Pay attention to keywords like “NOT,” “BEST,” or “MOST” in questions.
  4. If unsure about an answer, mark it for review and return to it later.
  5. Manage your time to ensure you can attempt all questions.

After Completion

You will receive an immediate score report showing:
  • Your overall percentage score
  • Performance breakdown by module
